She pulled down on the chain with her left hand, steering herself towards her target. It was supposed to be the most exciting birthday present ever; a hot air balloon ride.However,Alice had been holding on for dear life for over 100km.(since the basket of the hot air balloon had fallen off).She was now getting used to steering the huge balloon by manoeuvring her body,leaning to the left or to the right.

Terrified yet excited at the same time,Alice could just make out her house and garden far below. It was surrounded by trees straight ahead,wasn’t it? She took a deep breath and focused on holding onto the rope to keep her alive.

Alice was terrified that she would fall onto the ground and her pretty brown hair would be ruined .The hot air balloon started spinning really fast because the balloon popped. Alice was starting to get dizzy.The balloon was spinning it was uncontrollable to handle, she was heading towards the ground but then the balloon went up as she was able to touch the clouds.Alice's balloon fell onto the ground in a village filled with trees all the people in the village herd a big “THUMP” they went to the scene and saw Alice. The people in the village spoke a different language than her so Alice tried to show what happened to her.Everyone saw a helicopter. It was a police helicopter they were looking for Alice because she went missing.

  The police have her parents with them. They were so glad to see Alice and that she only had a little bruising. The people didn’t know what was happening so one of the police translated and told them what was happening. The people surprised Alice with a cake from the best baker in the world for her birthday. It was rainbow inside with chocolate frosting in the middle. They all enjoyed the cake and now they are going to fly to the hospital to have a check up. The next day Alice woke up and she was still in the balloon she passed out when the balloon hit the ground she had dreamed all of that stuff. Alice was sad that none of the things in her dream happened in real life. She is in a meadow with butterflies everywhere she was just able to see her house with a tree carving.

She was walking through the meadow and it was so beautiful she had never seen anything like it. Alice was grateful that she only got a few broken bones. She thinks it is because the butterflies brought her good luck so she didn’t get hurt when she fell. Alice said to herself this is the best birthday ever. Her parents found her with a tracking device that they had put in her pocket before she went on the balloon and asked her what happened. Alice way saying “I had a big crash and I made lots of butterfly friends Mum and  Dad” it has been a good day”.Alice’s Parents looked at her and said” It was the best day of your life you crashed in a meadow”.”Yes, I did with butterflies” Alice said. I think we should go to the hospital. Alice said I have broken my arm.

Alice was so grateful that she only had a few broken bones. She is glad that she is alive. Alice is going to be in the hospital for three more weeks to recover from her injuries. Alice said to herself “I am safe here and I am never going on a Hot Air Balloon for the next three years”. 

The Frozen Man

One day I got frozen in time by a wizard he casted a spell on me and I was put into a block of ice.When I was frozen the only thing I could do was breathe and blink. I could not do anything else. One day I heard rumbling I could see a shadow behind me I was scared I passed out I woke up on the ground someone saved me.I tried to stand up but I couldn't my body was so numb I couldn’t feel my body so I tried to make a fire but I couldn’t since my body was all numb and plus I didn’t even know how to make a fire.I said to myself” were even am I what year is it where is my FAMILY I screamed”. 

The next day I saw a hiker hiking up the mountain so I asked him hi do you know where a town or village is.He said” um who are you” in a British accent.So I said Trinity Knipe I am 11 years old I got frozen by a wizard.He laughed so I said” what are you laughing about he said you were frozen he did not believe me”.He left so I went back to sleep for ages and I was woke up by a snake crawling on my back I was a still as the floor.the snake went away and I climbed up a tree.Up the tree and there was so many leaves.

 When I was up the tree I saw the hiker again I shouted out to him and climbed down the tree and told him can you make a fire and he said of course I can so he did.When we were sitting by the fire I asked him.”what year is it” he said “2340”.That means I was frozen 2000 years ago that is so long I am now 2011 years old.The man gave me $50 so I tried to book a hotel but the cheapest one was $500 that was so expensive now I was mind blown.So I brought a sleeping bag instead.I was surprised that people still use these they were a big hit when I went to school.That night I was warm I slept the whole night and had a good sleep in my sleeping bag.

  Rarotonga Trip

One day I went to Rarotonga and it was really fun.I went with Mikayla, Fleur, Dad, Grandad, Nana and Myself. The day before we went on the plane it was two days before my birthday so we went to Inflatable world in Christchurch but I sprained my ankle.

Before we went to Rarotonga we had to go to Auckland first and then Rarotonga. ”When we got to Rarotonga it felt like opening a fire door”.  It was so hot. The day after we landed it was cloudy so we got donuts. They were so nice.

Two days later it was my birthday “YAY” . We went Snorkeling and Swimming in Rarotonga for the first time. It was so fun. That night we went to a restaurant Dad and Fleur surprised me with a chocolate cake “YUM”. It was amazing.

I had a great birthday in Rarotonga. It was the best birthday ever.My favourite part of the holiday was Aituaki. It is a different island in the Cook Islands. It is so pretty and it has the best sunsets. I was the first one in the water. It was so hot and nice.

Aituaki and my whole holiday was amazing. My Family and I had so much fun!.

For shoes we had to think about us and what we knew about us that people don't know unless we told them. We also had to think of a song lyric that relates to us I put there is nothing holding me back. For shoes we also had to colour in a shoe and I did tie-die and it turned out kind of cool.

My Covid-19 Story

                    Florence Fleming Fighting with Covid-19

Florence Fleming is A superhero who has been saving the world from viruses for 236 years. She is 256 years old but she looks like she is 23 because she uses a potion that can let her fight viruses and it makes her live longer and look younger so she can save the world.

In the world there is a virus called Coronavirus. It is all over the world and it is deadly to people. The Coronavirus has put many people in hospital. Because of this virus you have to stay one metre away from people so you can’t play tag with your friends but you can play tag with your family and the people in your bubble. Florence Fleming is killing the virus slowly with her powers so the world will hopefully be okay after she is finished fighting the virus. Florence Fleming has used her powers on a country called New Zealand so now they have been getting no cases in their country that means she is killing the virus quickly.

 Florence Fleming is the number one when it comes to viruses. When Florence Fleming is done fighting with Covid-19 she will go to sleep until the next virus, so she is not tired when the next virus comes to the earth. When the next virus comes Florence Fleming will come to the rescue. All the other superheroes have nothing on Florence Fleming because she is the most powerful out of all the superheroes because she can fight the virus and no other superhero can do that kind of thing. Florence Fleming has been trying to let the earth recover while fighting the virus. Florence Fleming got Covid-19 but since she is a superhero she only had it for a week. When she fights the virus she gains more and more power. She is invisible so no one can see her because she doesn’t want her identity to be shown to the world. 

Covid-19 will be a virus that is going to be around the world forever but Florence Fleming is slowing down the population of the virus. Covid-19 will be one of the biggest viruses on the chart of big viruses that Florence Fleming has got in her invisible floating house. Florence Fleming has just stopped fighting with New Zealand and now she is going to go to Australia so hopefully she will stop the spreading there because they don’t have that many cases going each day as they used to have. When she has finished fighting Australia she is going to the cook islands to have a holiday by herself for 1 hour because for her it feels like 1 week. Her days go so slow. Florence Fleming is the number 1 superhero for fighting viruses. 

If Florence Fleming was fighting with hulk she would win because she is the strongest superhero in the world because her strength helps her fight viruses.  

While Florence Fleming is fighting viruses there are more superheroes helping with the supermarkets restock the food so people can get escentuals. Florence Fleming is going to go all around Australia to care for them because they are getting low on cases. Right now every country needs Florence Fleming and are hoping that she will come to their country next to fight with Covid-19.

Topic

Snakes can be really Venomous but some aren't some snake bites can kill you but we are lucky in New Zealand we only have snakes in zoos we don't have wild snakes.I thinks snakes are very cute and I really want a pet snake but we can't have one in the country.

Today for Spelling I did a Task that you have to put your words backwards an alphabet.Today I also did steps and got a gold medal.
